Might be ready to try Linux for home office.
Currently looking at inexpensive (but name-brand) mini PCs with a well known Linux OS pre-installed. No, I do not want to install my own OS.
Suggestions welcome.

Looking for tools or supplies from a Canadian company, and you can’t find at your local hardware store, https://OHCanadaSupply.ca is pretty good. Edmonton Alberta based. Great service and reasonable prices. Of course not everything they sell is made in Canada, but it beats shopping at USA hardware stores like HomeDepot, Lowes, RONA, RenoDepot etc. In Quebec we also have PatrickMorin and Canac hardware stores, both Quebec based.

I believe supporting Canadian domain digital service companies starts with our personal and business email and cloud account(s), as these represent the most fundamental aspect of our online profile.
As I try wean myself off American service providers,
I am continuing to look for reliable and secure Canadian email options.
Does anyone have experience with https://omail.ca/?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could hold the USA to account for guns like they are trying to hold us to account for fentanyl. Only difference I believe is the gun imports are real.

So far so good with setting up my new Canadian domociled email account with https://nili.ca.
As a small company, they don’t offer a downloadable app so you have to use your own email client. They provide a tool to email yourself the account settings to type in the IMAP or POP configuration. After that, sending and receiving works.
The biggest problem I’ve encountered is the AutoCorrect keeps wanting to change nili to Nike. :/
I decided to go ahead and give them a try. It isn’t free, $25 for first year with the “WELILIN” promo code, but it’s not too expensive either so if it ends up not being legit, then I’m not too far out. They do have a GST registration number so that lends some credibility. They appear to be based out of north Toronto.
I will update this thread once the email has been set up, which apparently takes a day.
