No volver a ir al súper con migraña. Compro barbaridades que en mis cinco sentidos no miraría.
No. El birriamen no está bueno.
Sí. La migraña altera el juicio. Anda uno con la conciencia alterada.

Cats would launder money if they could. Not because they have any interest in money, but just because they could.
we love our cat
but i'm pretty sure based on its personality that it would be MAGA, a Trump voter
I’m tired of Americans saying Trump’s anti-Canada rhetoric is “just a distraction”.
It seems like a distraction for you because—quite simply—you don’t want to care.
And the reason you don’t want to care is because you believe it won’t impact your life.
@SwiftOnSecurity Now that’s what I call synergizing.
@gemlog Yeah,it's difficult for me to believe the economics works. Heat, decaying orbits, ongoing launches, etc. But I've felt the same way with regard to satellite internet providers vs fiber optic installation and other terrestrial approaches, but I've had people arguing with me who are convinced it makes economic sense. Well, of course, any of this can make economic sense if we ignore certain externalities and don't want democratic influence on infrastructure. Anyway... :/
Land of the free, where nothing is free.
another bit of bullshit - manufacturers listing NEDC range instead of WLTP because the number is bigger (not so bad on 2025/2026 cars, but pretty common on 2024 cars)
Dear Americans. A legit British English word which entered English from French in the 15th century, is "trumpery".
Meaning something that looks flashy or attractive but is actually cheap, fake or without value. Applied to speech it's almost synonymous with the USian "trash talk".
Also, long before Donnie came along, in British slang to trump meant to fart.
I would love for y'all to co-opt these words because there is plausible deniability: they're already in the dictionaries!
You're welcome.

Your body is a temple, you should only share it with people looking to launder money and political influence through it.
@jbz indulge in it, like Martin Luther isn't watching

@comfortzonepodcast Wait, how did I miss this? I thought I was checking all the things daily.
Yeah! This is so exciting!! The new brand looks a-mazing. 👍👍
@blogdiva And you could not script that better. Out of ALL the celebrities, it’s Nicholas Cage. Of course it is.
wow. this is the shittiest of bad takes in the age of techbros oligarchs going full late-stage capitalism with their incestuous investments whilst destroying whole ecosystems, plundering universities and wiping out labor markets worldwide.
Studies show that you hitting yourself; researchers puzzled as to why.
My food group (Free Fridges, Food Rescue, and Indoor Gardening) has an official logo now.
( -This feels like a significant benchmark- )
A member of my group proposed us getting an official logo so we could start printing out business cards, make T-shirts and Polos, print out an event booth banner, and make giveaway swag, etc....
...all of which will really help grow the group and its operations as we attend events and reach out in the local community.
We all agreed and that group member initiated everything and got it done.
And here is a wonderful thing. We went to a local art collective and commissioned a local artist to create the logo. (And I believe they did it for free in support of helping us feed our mutual neighbors).
No AI. No Slop. A real local artist. We support each other.
So cheers to Pete Morelewicz (and Emmy) - His site can be found here : https://printjazz.com
See attached for logo design:

Director of IT position at truth or consequences school district in New Mexico. It is a cute and queer friendly town. My friend works at the school there, happy to put someone in touch with them.
making a list of cars with:
* Under $50,000 drive away new or used
* More than 400km of WLTP range (ideally 450km+)
* Drivers seat & mirror positions linked to multliple profiles.
* 360-degree camera
Nice to have:
* Non-flush/electronic door handles
* No glass roof
* Traditional keyfob option to lock/unlock car
* Under 4400mm in length
* ADAS systems that aren't a piece of shit
* Be able to view charge status remotely, ideally without an app that requires Google Play Services on Android
@decryption personally I'd be moving the non-flush door handles from "nice to have" to "mandatory". An essential safety feature in my book. My other one is "single physical button for fresh to recirc air" for when entering tunnels or behind stinky diesel.
That being said, I'm very impressed with the Geely, and eyeing it off for a future purchase. Same company as Volvo with an established service network gives it high marks. And having ridden in a few, high marks for comfort
@abesamma @hrheingold yup. this is “we have no idea how to develop further so let’s find a way to spin that for good PR and funding leverage”
I’m still reading the home page of https://pushin.eu and this line lands *hard*. I think more of us devs need to think seriously about what software we can patriate outside the US.
