When I read about people’s complex development environments and custom scripting setups and containers and whatever else I feel like such a fraud. I just use my Mac and Xcode and a terminal and tend to do things one at a time and not script and automate and optimize every last thing.
@bigzaphod You don’t need to feel like a fraud, Sean. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using great tools to help you get where you’re going. A lot of “modern” tools are built because devs are using crap to get where they’re going.
It’s nice you have good tooling. Use it. Keep things simple. This is the way.

I can't think of any project that rivals it in terms of temporal scope. 14 lives, their stories told in 10 interviews each, over 70 years.
If I have understood correctly they were interviewed at seven in 63, 14 in 70, 21 in 77, 28 and 84, 35 in 91, 42 in 98, 49 in 2005, 56 in 2012, and 63 in 2019, and now at 70 in 2026.
Think about how much the world has changed in that time!
I've never seen any complete episodes. I have seen some clips and I know the show by reputation. I was surprised when I learned the the 2019 installment came out (and what a different world we're in now!)
I don't know if I'll sit down and watch the whole series over a period of a week or two, or if I'm content to know it exists.
@ajroach42 I absolutely recommend watching them, whatever cadence works for you. We last caught up with it for 56 Up in the theatre, by which point the meta is creeping in, but I expect to be glad to see the latest when it works for us. Poignant.
