Today I went for my annual cancer scan and I didn’t get a thumbs up because they had to take part of me for a biopsy and I don’t like it so here’s a photo of a flower that I took in 2013.

JetBrains has decided my project no longer qualifies for the open-source free versions of their tooling, so I'm probably going to have to migrate off it.
Not that much of a tragedy as the UI had become more and more unwieldy for me in the past two years, but I'm still not sure where I'll land next.
My preference would be to setup vim or neovim together with a nice debugging environment, but that looks like a lot of work at the moment. I've tried to configure DAP twice and always failed. :(
Currently trying Zed with all of the AI stuff off.

One such follower had picked as username "agent_test".
I like that I can manually remove them. I guess I'll need to go on a cleanup spree soon 🥲

@_elena Yes our server is also experiencing a wave of weird registration attempts from usually disposable email domains and very generic, profile-like reasons for joining.They must have a great plan behind it (model-training? not sure). It's certainly creepy

@device I'm using a custom uBlock Origin blocklist, based on this template.
It can hide stories submitted by certain users (and you won't even see them in the list). It can block comments (you'll see the commenter, but not the comment itself), and can block entire threads (where you will see the thread starter, but not the contents, nor any replies).
My personal filters are available from https://s6.csillger.hu/ublock/lobsters/ - but be aware, it's very opinionated, I block quite liberally. There are no receipts in the blocklist either (there are in the sources these were generated from, but the source isn't public).

@rolle My experience was not quite as bad *in the beginning*. But errors kept piling up, for example, any bsky.app page would display a big "Sorry, you've cancelled your account, you can't view anything here! Would you like to uncancel? You have 30 days." warning. There was no way to log in to bsky anymore, even giving it my new mu.social login server address (which is eurosky.social, *not* mu.social). I think the thing sets some cookie marking your account as cancelled. But cancelling is *part* of the migration, so you should not uncancel!
I had to install the Firefox addon that replaces all bsky.app links with mu.social ones to get rid of it, as most of my machines seem to have had that cookie, making viewing anything on bsky impossible.
Meanwhile for the Masto migration, the most difficult question was "do you want to migrate followers or will you start fresh and notify people by hand?" or something like that.
I'm not super-impressed with bsky even on the best days. This just further cements my opinion tha Masto was/is the right choice.
