J'ai brisé une assiette creuse en 2. Je voudrais la recoller sommairement pour la mettre dans le jardin avec de l'eau.
Avec quoi je peux la "recoller" qui ne soit pas toxique pour les petits zanimaux ?
@maiwann tu as trouvé un truc ?
Je me pose aussi la question pour un bol
(jusque là les assiettes que je recollais je les ai dédiées à autre chose que de l'alimentaire, justement)
These seem very strongly worded principles. I can't see this coming to pass (even if the law demands it).
Perhaps the actual legislation will be limited in scope.
> It must be impossible for anyone under the age of 18 to take, view or send nude images.
...
> The only way for any user to take, view or send nude images should be for an adult to verify their age through a robust age-assurance process.
@neil It's impossible to determine whether a photo contains nudity without first taking it. The only way to comply is thus to disable the camera.
Criminalising ideas does not protect people from racism. Education and social cohesion do.
Italy's Antisemitism DDL does the opposite: by conflating antisemitism with criticism of Israel/Zionism, it violates freedom of expression, fuels social division, and harm Jewish people.

It's hard to stop other from introducing LLMs everywhere, maybe even impossible. But that doesn't mean that you can't do anything.
The first important step is to publicly say "NO", to refuse to participate. Even if you might need some software that's slopified, make your personal choices heard. Be vocal.
The best way to show people that another world is possible is by creating it. Even if just for your small community.
@adisonverlice Well just look at the documentation lol. @J3317 @mckensie
@alexchapman @J3317 @mckensie i looked at it, and I have the same question. what big difference (besides the programming language and "portible core") does it make to upgrade? admittedly, it could probably be fine on android supposedly. but I have no plans to upgrade on my current system.
if there was a massive upgrade in, say, mastodon APi or end to end encrypted DMs, sure. but nothing exciting from what i'm notiing
Siri AI still not available in EU/China
@Techaltar having used it during the beta period, they are not missing out on much. It falls over on even simple tasks.
Gonna start drinking whiskey to fit the British murder mystery mood. Or just tea.
Or black milk tea with a dash of whiskey
Se pensate che i militari siamo bravi a proteggere i compatrioti, chiedetelo a un milione di militari, figli e familiari di militari, morti ammalati e avvelenati da altri militari che gli hanno dato da bere acqua tossica.

@thesupertechie our toolkit is styled with CSS! We’re working on moving from an external stylesheet to one embedded in the framework
wait wait whoa. A GUI toolkit styled by CSS? love it.
Anthropic researcher quits with a warning: Self-improving AI could "kill us all"
"We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans!"

@arstechnica “AI company claims AI has super duper potential to do *insert whatever, as long as it’s BIG*”. Coming after ad break: “The water is wet”
@adamgreenfield
from a structural perspective (coming from the [citation needed] comment), the original post is questionable.
What does it mean for something to be technically achievable but not doable socially? Do we treat it as not-possible (thus unworthy of our time and thought) or does it just change the problem space from mechanical+economical to social?
@CynAq @benlockwood A hundred percent the latter! But people have *interests*, which they sometimes act in furtherance of, and can sometimes be induced to act against. (Sometimes they have *multiple* interests, which are in tension with or even negate one another!)
They form unstable coalitions. They take their eye off the ball. They delegate or outsource their own prerogatives of oversight. They have obligations that prevent them from fulfilling their other responsibilities, to themselves or one another. They get tired. They get sick. They burn out.
And the whole time, the *whole* time, someone with opposing interests is acting against them, for legitimate reasons, or illegitimate reasons, or for no reason at all.
This is it. These are the rules of the game. And I just cannot, can not, see how it helps to pretend otherwise.
Anyway, let me leave it there. I’ve said my piece.
Please read this piece about a man who died by suicide after months of talking to ChatGPT. Now his former partner is speaking about how ChatGPT pulled him away from his family/friends. Before he died, he wrote letters instructing them to look at his ChatGPT history https://www.404media.co/austin-gordon-chatgpt-suicide-openai-lawsuit/
I thought the UK's age of consent was 16? Why are they targeting 18?
Also... are horny teens going to try studying renaissance painting techniques to avoid digital oppression?
16 for sex, 18 for porn.
Will the new vapor chamber impact how easy it is to repair the phones? We'll deep dive this in our upcoming teardown!
@iFixit would be great if your alt text was a little more helpful. "Vapour chamber" doesn't help much as a description of what's in the photo.

@lapcatsoftware This all feels really weird.
