I am most definitely not used to this. you have to press control shift b to boost a post on mastodon. This is going to take time
@adisonverlice Meh its not that bad, I actually like being able to hit a single key to like a post, or reply or boost or whatever lol. @mckensie
@alexchapman @adisonverlice @mckensie It disables first letter navigation though and that's my only problem with it.
@destranis I'm one of those that doesn't use that for Mastodon, and likes the quick hotkeys like F to favorite and B to boost. @adisonverlice @mckensie
@adisonverlice @mckensie Just found out you can't use first letter navagation, i'm closing this and going back to the OG fastsm
@adisonverlice Its not better actually, the new one is gaining all the original's features and some. @J3317 @mckensie
@alexchapman @J3317 @mckensie what does it have that FastSM doesn't? as in what reason what I have to actually upgrade?
@adisonverlice Well just look at the documentation lol. @J3317 @mckensie
@alexchapman @J3317 @mckensie i looked at it, and I have the same question. what big difference (besides the programming language and "portible core") does it make to upgrade? admittedly, it could probably be fine on android supposedly. but I have no plans to upgrade on my current system.
if there was a massive upgrade in, say, mastodon APi or end to end encrypted DMs, sure. but nothing exciting from what i'm notiing
@J3317 Ah screw first letter nav I like my single key interactions lmfao. @adisonverlice @mckensie
@mckensie I just hit B, the fuck is your layout on? Lol.
I mean Fast SM RW.
@mckensie Also is there a shortcut to vew the conversation in fastSMRW like in fastSM, i found the option in the context menu but there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut that i can find, ctrl G doesn't do anything
@alexchapman @mckensie I don't like how first letter navagation doesn't work
@mckensie mainly why I just stick to fastSM original
