If you really love CSS and want to get involved with an open source operating system—and more specifically app framework—that doesn’t use AI and really pisses off white supremacist homophobes, I would love your help!
We’re working now on our new stylesheet for Granite 9. I could use help with a few things!
One is just pairing on reviewing pull requests: https://github.com/elementary/granite/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aopen+team-review-requested%3Aelementary%2Fux
But I could also use help triaging and fixing issues with the stylesheet tag: https://github.com/elementary/granite/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aopen%20label%3AStylesheet
For a bigger overview of the style goals, check out the wiki: https://github.com/elementary/granite/wiki/Stylesheet-Targets
One of the things I’m working on is just moving from GTK-flavored CSS and Sass to standard CSS where possible thanks to new changes in GTK >= 4.20
Otherwise this is also a great time to get involved if you have opinions about how elementary OS and its apps should look going forward! Be a part of building it :)

@danirabbit Sure! What do you need CSS for?
@thesupertechie our toolkit is styled with CSS! We’re working on moving from an external stylesheet to one embedded in the framework
wait wait whoa. A GUI toolkit styled by CSS? love it.
@danirabbit hey guys, I like how your OS looks and I will maybe use it. I don't know. I haven't decided what I'll use but you should really cut the political crap I truly do not understand what the hell does that have to do with Linux
