The journal welcomes statistical methods development to answer ecological questions as well as rigorous and insightful applications of statistics to ecological datasets.
Potentially better, though a lot will depend on the details. For instance, the PCCC's Adam Green raises the issue of ranked choice for delegates, and also how the delegates are selected.

The emerging details about ICE's murder of #LorenzoSalgadoAraujo and the aftermath are terrible:
They acknowledge there was no enforcement order against him.
They stopped him so they could scoop up his compadres.
They stripped his body of identification before taking him to the hospital and told the hospital to treat him as a John Doe.
His family has been prevented from identifying and claiming his body. Because he's a John Doe.
They are rushing deportation of the witnesses.

Trump has fired all the commissioners of the bipartisan Elections Assistance Commission (EAC). The EAC was set up to after the 2000 election chiefly to administer the HAVA funds. Today it publishes standards for voting equipment and a manages standard form people can send to their state for voter registration.
Trump previously ordered the EAC to add a "proof of citizenship" section to the voter registration form, and this move may be related to that.

I have read many articles from many sources, not just mainstream western media that reported thousands of Iranians killed by the Iranian regime. This is not the first uprising to be violently suppressed. There was the women, life, freedom protests after the killing of Mahsa Amini in 2022 for not wearing a scarf adequately. Just because the US and Israel are led by violent psychopaths who gratuitously attacked Iran does not erase the human rights abuses of Iran's regime.

Gone in a flash. Woke up the next morning horrified, but it was too late.
7 years ago, I quit drinking and started rebuilding my writing career from scratch.
I'm still nowhere near where I could have been. But I'm getting there.
I built a tool called Kerouac to help me track my writing and publishing across my blog, Substack, Medium etc.
Just seeing the activity graph light up reminds me - I'm rebuilding.
