Like, the issues I found aren't even particularly difficult to mitigate. I provided some sample code in my Matrix disclosure blog post and pointed to a bitsliced AES implementation (BearSSL) for systems that can't do AES-NI.
Hell, you could probably get a fucking LLM to do it. Trail of Bits published a Claude skill for detecting whether a compiler has undermined the intent for code to be constant-time. But the heavy-lifting is done by a Python script.
Shipping cryptography without side-channels was table-stakes for being taken seriously.
@elettrona
C'erano altre pagine, su Bugliano, in Facebook.
Oops, venuto... Faccio i doppi sensi ormai anche senza volerlo.

@are0h Yessss! I've got a setup in my Ansible playbooks to just bump the version number then I run the playbook and it pulls down the latest release, builds it locally, then drops the files onto my server. 😁
@virtualwolf that sounds really cool.
Only minutes in and we have a beautiful teaching on the failure of the idea that we have “rights”. A simple and silly improv calling up an audience member demonstrates how different the dynamic becomes when we first claim not our rights to water (or anything) but our responsibilities towards this, or any, aspect of life.
I think Isaac already is showing what an astounding teacher he is.
He honours the audience with the words “we are all Indigenous”, and then explains that despite everyone trying to respond with contradiction when he says that, that he believes we are - we are all of the Earth.
Follows with a heart filling story of giving the same problems to a group of teachers and a group of 6 year olds, and the astounding difference in results - the children went straight from the heart to the solution.
Oh, I didn’t know Phanpy could be self hosted!
Looks like I’ve found the next thing I’m gonna fiddle and tinker with.

Trump's latest plan to revive coal power: Make the military buy it
The administration's "reasoning" for doing so has little connection to reality.

@evan up for them to decide. Why should someone even have an opinion on how someone should spend their time?
Ah, the Matrix guy decided to chime in on the Hacker News thread about my blog.

Of course his comment is bullshit.

Palestine's most important university used to hold classes in living rooms when Israel shut it down. Now the army walks onto campus and the biggest fight is over whether exams should be online. A devastating essay by one of its own professors on what happens when a university keeps functioning but stops meaning anything. https://mondoweiss.net/2026/02/the-hollowing-out-of-palestines-most-important-university/
Five years after the rollout of Covid-19 vaccines started, it seems the mystery of why the Astra-Zeneca and J&J vaccines led to a rare but deadly side effect of unusual blood clots and bleeding has finally been solved.
It's a fascinating case of molecular mimicry that may help make vaccine safer.

Can confirm: SC 2 works perfectly fine on Linux via Steam.
I'm perfectly well aware that we're not supposed to like companies. But damn I owe a lot to Steam's willingness to invest into Linux gaming.
Also, just finished playing a few custom battles with all three SC2 races. Granted, via very easy AI, but still, it was fun.

@vik to me a refurbished Lenovo is a no-brainer for a Linux laptop. Great build quality, great Linux support, high spec, and cost ~$500. Can suggest suppliers if you're interested.
@lightweight Thanks, but I'm taking advantage of a Birthday Licence to acquire a new HP Victus with a 4TB SSD upgrade. Hopefully will last another 17 years by which time we'll have the damn things built in behind our ears.
