With all the tiktok drama I have been telling people Mastodon is still here and kicking!! I love this app and I really think the decentralized model is the best for social media.

@taylorlorenz imho the traditional media are obstructing it : in Belgium, the journalists I talked to (national) are just ignoring it still saying "there is no alternative from EU", they don't want to dive into it, understand the fediverse concept, or just dismissing it bc "there is nobody there".

I think I have become a bird watcher.
I’ve been recording what I find when I’m at the commune (I joined one on the south coast about a year ago, but have been coming here for years with friends). Today I saw a bird that could have been either a Pied Cormorant, or a Little Pied Cormorant, but I didn’t get close enough to see the colour of its legs. So I cannot record anything and shall have to go look for it again tomorrow.
What have I done? Do not install bird spotting apps if you have a tendency to competitive gaming.

Universal Android Debloater m'a permis de rendre invisibles plusieurs apps de Samsung qui étaient omniprésentes dans l'OS. Mais n'a pas été mise à jour depuis 3 ans et est incompatible avec Wayland.

Despite having spent my tween years creating maps with and modding for Unreal Engine 1 (and later v2) these days I'm not particularly – err – impressed by the – uh – aesthetics that you get using the defaults of UE5. Yes, of course you can replace most of the render pipeline. But you can often tell at a glance, that a product uses UE5 defaults.
As far as games go, I prefer if they're focused on an artistic approach. I kind of like the look of the Decima engine.
