Ok, for people who want to study CS back when there was a lot less of it, I'm putting some of the notes up, starting with bits of first year CS1 & EE2 (skipped EE1 as I'd a- level physics).
Progressive change is inevitable at this point.
But expect both parties to fight it tooth and claw, because they know that their power and wealth and position *100% rely* on everything being shit, the right always being "ascendant", and everyone else just being terrified in their house, voting blue and hoping it does something, this time.

I learned today that POSIX specifies a tool designed to assist you in reviewing & modifying LLM-generated code. In typical Unix fashion, they shortened "reviewing & modifying" to just two letters:
$ rm code.rs
It even has command-line options to [r]ecursively [f]ix whole directories of LLM-generated code:
$ rm -rf project/

I see where you're coming from but I don't think it's useful to make this a binary of "support nazis or abandon technology", as some may use that as a justification for completely abandoning ethical concerns.
There are people doing grassroots tech projects as ethically as possible, I'd quite like to get them more visibility 🙂

You are correct in it bring important to give support to projects that are attempting to be as ethical as possible within the parameters allowed.
But I still find myself consistently turning corners in the labyrinth and find myself at dead ends. And I try now to mentally will myself to rise above the maze and see it from a different perspective.
@axx I think this year it's Christmas with the family but next year sounds possible!
