Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks. Caught in the attack was Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine.

I just uploaded a recording of me installing and using NVDA on my emulated Windows 😜 Itanium system. Warning: there is lots of silence and stalls in the audio. https://datajake.braillescreen.net/OtherAudio/NVDAOnWindowsXP64BitEdition.flac

The sanctions were part of legislation that was named after Senator #LindseyGraham, the South Carolina Republican who died in July.
Such betrayal. Treasonous.

Roger Coreman's fantastic four: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEhgwDqYqWM
The Fantastic Four is an unreleased superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The film features the team's origin and first battle with Doctor Doom. Executive-produced by low-budget specialist Roger Corman and Constantin Film president Bernd Eichinger, it was made to allow Eichinger to keep the Fantastic Four film rights. It was not officially released, although pirated copies have circulated since 1994.

@ascentale @grammasaurus @bikenite #BikeNite A2 that's an interesting question, but last I checked the physics of how bicycles actually work is still open so I don't know if we can determine what is the absolute minimum to make it work
@fullywoolly @ascentale @bikenite your answer reminded me of the “square wheel” exhibit at the museum of math in NYC.
“The Islamic Republic is a structure built upon terror and repression…
The Islamic Republic is a structure built upon terror and repression. From the suppression of Kurdistan and Turkmen Sahra in 1979, the imposition of the mandatory hijab, the mass killings of the 1980s, and the 1988 massacre, to the ‘chain murders,’ the crushing of student movements, the uprisings of January 2018 and November 2019, the ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’ movement, and the bloody crackdowns of this past January—the regime has sustained its existence through torture and execution.”
Had today off and got down to Occoquan and now I have a new favorite local-ish bookshop!!
They opened in April and true to it's name, it is very cozy and I have two new books. 🥰
I like em all but the Victorian English option will absolutely have their head spinning. 😁
