I've been working on this #documentary about one of my mentors, David MacDonald since 2022. He was a professor at Syracuse University for over forty years and is a beloved figure in the #ceramics world. This project has been an immense undertaking. My hope is to finish shooting by spring 2027 and to complete post-production by 2028.

Buenas, me paso a dejaros un proyecto en el que he estado trabajando y que he llamado Eclipse Tracker.
La idea era un sistema capaz de seguir el Sol durante el eclipse y emitir un sonido que permitiese a personas ciegas escuchar el eclipse mientras se produce.
Después de desarrollar un sistema con cámaras motores, detectores, objetivos y filtros solares caí en la cuenta de que se podía hacer más sencillo y mucho más barato.
He colgado las dos variantes en un repo en Codeberg por si a alguien le interesa, con enlaces a piezas, etc.
Si vais a hacer algo, aprovechar ahora, en 2024 hubo rotura de stock en EE.UU de piezas para montar algo así.
