@janl One of these years I’ll get to experience Fuji “properly” whatever that means. So far we only caught a few glimpses from the Tōkaidō Shinkansen window, and on the way up to Hakone before the weather turned overnight.
Seemed too much of a challenge this time around though, and we already had to cut some lower hanging fruit for time/budget reasons.

Schwach und enttäuschend. Treffsicher die falsche Entscheidung gefällt. Digitale Souveränität in der deutschen Verwaltung? Bleibt leider die absolute Ausnahme.
Die Medienstadt Mainz, Heimat von ZDF, 3sat und SWR sollte wissen, dass man Medien in den Händen privater Konzerne etwas entgegen setzen muss.

@janl Checked the calendar for test runs on the “Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center” (山梨県立リニア見学センター) website, then turned up on one of those days (today). It roared past maybe every 5-10 minutes for most of the time we were there. (There was a bit of downtime at one point.)

@TheBreadmonkey I had a student long ago, about 8 years old, who came in with a pretty pastel green shirt with sparkly bubbly rainbow lettering that said 'useless'. Awkward.
And to this day I regret not buying the hoodie that proclaimed: someone smelling the scent of your skin: every second counts!
Still, I made up for it with the tshirt that said simply: swarms of winter gnats.
