Joined the Wellington mesh tonight!

Communicated with a friend ~60km away, over the Remutaka Range, using Meshtastic (LoRa @ 915Mhz) instead of the internet.

In unrelated news, I've started studying to get an Amateur Radio license. I like the idea of being able to communicate (over long distances) using radio, without the internet. Wish me luck. 馃檹
