John Swinney has announced that he's going to bring all buses in Scotland into public ownership.
Very well done to public transport campaigners over many years to make this once impossible policy inevitable.
He's going to do it "through franchising and regulation", so he'll be following the model called for in the joint paper by Common Weal, Get Glasgow Moving and Living Rent
