Today's fun little activity 🚗
7 hours later and I'm halfway 💀
@Gina now deutsche bahn doesnt halfway look as bad, right ? ;)
@Gina
In a previous life, driving from the south coast of England to north of Glasgow doesn't seem to be so bad after all
@Gina Dacht je dat het trajectcontrole was? 📸
@Gina het kan erger, je had nog in Berlijn kunnen zijn!
@Gina go, go, go... 😄 have a break for some ☕
@Gina Inwent from ~Brussels to Berlin in this time :)
@Gina Save travels and get home in one piece.
@Gina op de terugweg kom gerust een kopje thee of ijsje doen in Enschedeee
@Gina After your personal struggles with DB, one can only agree with going by car 😅 It's sad that Germany's DB has earned such a bad reputation...
@Gina Have a good trip.
@Gina a familiar way of life 😢 best of luck my friend
@Gina Not a bad drive if you arrive at Berlin before afternoon rush hour!
@Gina Just trying to make my way from Essen (Germany) to Bruges (Belgium) by train. In the last two hours I made about 25 km. Current speed: approximately 10 km/h. Travelling with Deutsche Bahn is a mental stress test each time. So, I guess, you're better off going by car 😎
@fablog yeah sorry, but I have zero faith in getting anywhere with Deutsche Bahn.
@Gina This is not about faith. It's a fact based argument.
I guess they just want us to recognize the landscape outside which is really nice. The train just even stopped without need. Maybe I'll save one night in the hotel as I will spend it in a lost station somewhere in the outback ...
@Gina Watch out for the three people trying to open umbrellas.
@Gina The usual construction site horror as soon as you enter Germany 😂
@davidonline yah 😭
I'm at the end of a 3 week conference loop and it was just easier to go by car than to haul a suitcase all around, especially since I had to be in the middle of nowhere Germany at some point.
@Gina The classic traveling Gina problem.
@Gina I would have taken the train.
For example ICE 140, took 6h 51min.
Last night a had a great ride back to NRW with 2 movies and a beer in an ICE.
