Goldeneye is such a tremendously silly film. I saw it at the cinema when it first came out and hated it. I am going to attempt to enjoy it now.
@TheBreadmonkey I vaguely remember a shagging scene in a sauna. I farted incredibly loudly in the cinema watching that bit.
Actual big lols
@TheBreadmonkey Was early teens. Body didn’t know what to do.
No idea. Definitely smaller than I am now. They say that all the cells in a human body are replaced roughly every 7 years and so we must live many lives across our sentient existence. Reborn anew many times across our lifespan. I was different back then. In my other life. I hold some of his memories. Echoes of another time. Faint recollections from the stories of a stranger. Images drawn in mist on a steamy mirror. Is it real? We can never know. Knowledge ephemeral. A slowly expanding cloud - extremities forever lost and unknown to a distant centre.
@TheBreadmonkey I saw the one with the ice hotel in theatres. Which one was that
I was thinking about that the other day. I don't think it exists. It's a fever dream we made up. A shared psychosis. We have become untethered from reality and slipped into a netherrealm. Oh look, an ice hotel with spies. What are we even talking about? Nurse! Nurse!
Only messing. No idea. I sort of love the unadulterated silliness of the Bonds. It feels like we're allowed to buy into this ludicrous fantasy of hyper-realism. A kind of video game nonsense escapism. Brain in standby mode. Popcorn for the soul. But it is stupid as shit. But I think that might be ok? Or not. I am having an existential crisis.
@TheBreadmonkey hey Ben. It's ok to enjoy things.
It is still quite fucking stupid
@TheBreadmonkey Bond movies work better when you drink shot everytime Bond drops a one-liner…
@TheBreadmonkey How old were you?
