Switched to #ZHA. Tried to pair a ZigBee device - UI didn't show any change. But the bulb did pair!
Now I guess I need to do that 30ish times unless anyone knows a way to mass migrate Hue bulbs?
@Edent at least when you remove a Hue bulb from your Hue bridge it automatically goes into pairing mode. Ikea Tradfri need the 6x on/off to make them pair again.
Ask me how I know this (looks at 19x Tradfri bulbs and 7x Hur lamps) 😆
@WiteWulf
I had to write these notes to myself last year :lolsob:

@Edent No. Migrating Zigbee Networks between adapters or channels is hard enough, moving to a different system is not something that's been foreseen.
You might be able to factory reset the bulbs wireless from within Hue, and they might automatically go into pairing mode upon reset (I've no experience with Hue, but seen this in other systems), which at least would allow you to do the dance without getting up.
@Edent I’ve now moved all my hue lights and switches off the hue hub and onto zigbee2mqtt/HA
@Edent I have one and was the best thing for my home automation
@Edent I look forward to the blog post. I already have a zigbee dongle, but most of my bulbs are via a hue hub. I have been contemplating moving away from the hue hub and just running everything directly from HA.
After fiddling with virsh, #HomeAssistant can see the #ZigBee device.
But the Zigbee2MQTT app is having none of it. It will show the device but not connect to it.
Once again I'm scrabbling in old forum threads because no one can be bothered to write actual documentation.
