The issue of #Meta's #PervertGlasses is not just about perverts obviously, and not even about "filming in public".
It's about what happens to those pictures and videos.
I never used to care about being caught in a private photo, because it used to be extremely unlikely to go anywhere but a family album book, and probably never seen again.
Now I know the picture and lots of metadata (including date time and place) will probably be uploaded to a corporate and government #panopticon.
*That* is the problem today and has been for years. Pervert glasses are just amplifying this, and make it impossible for anyone to turn their face away from mass #surveillance. Wearing balaclavas would be one way, but that is beginning to be outlawed in UK anyway, and not reasonable to have to do to protect one's #privacy.
