We are currently getting hammered by bots attempting to sign-up to both #MastodonAppUK and #Universeodon with over 500 attempted registrations across the sites in the last 24 or so hours.

We are seeing some performance issues at this time where we're still getting actively hit by these bots and we're processing a series of bulk rejections to stop the accounts signing up.

We have had to put some temporary additional measures in place which may impact legitimate users signing up, if this is the case an e-mail to our support mailbox should get the issue resolved.
