Ffs, #RyanAir absolutely requires a mobile app to even check-in and access boarding passes.
Screw that. Never flying with them again if I can at all avoid it.
And of course the "More info" button leads to a 404 page. Incompetent dweebs.

@rysiek You can request a printed ticket at the check-in desk for free, provided that you've checked in online. But yeah, in many respects this sucks. I painstakingly follow this pattern from day 0 when they removed the ability to print the boarding passes.
@rysiek ryanair is well known as being absolutely scummy, applying every dark pattern they can think of to add charges to your bill, all while giving you the worst experience they can. If ryanair is your only option you're better off hitch-hiking instead.
@rysiek i hate ryanair with all my soul but sometimes i have no other option but to use them.
They say that about the app but you can still install the app, screenshot the qr, uninstall the app. It is not one of those awful qr like Ticketmaster uses
@rysiek This year I tested out how easy is it to exercise your right to be forgotten with RyanAir and it was one of the worst companies to deal with (I've been on this crusade for awhile).
In case it's interesting I'll link my thread about it: https://mastodon.online/@dlsl/116512661113196158
@rysiek Rly? Damn. It sounds like techno-discrimination
@PabloveSky I am going to try to avoid that if at all possible. Will report back. But all the messaging seems to indicate the app is strictly necessary unless you want to pay the 55EUR airport check-in fee.
@rysiek @PabloveSky That's a bluff. If you check in online you can request a printed boarding pass at the check-in desk. But you need to queue, if you're not checking in extra luggage.
@rysiek so you can make "go around"... but You'll be punished. Great
Also, can the #EU sort out international train connections finally, please?
I am doing a long multi-point trip across the EU, and I would have loved to use trains for all of it, but as it stands out of 5 legs of the trip, only a single one had a viable train connection.
Come on.
@rysiek doesn't improve the state of #EU cross border #rail connections but maybe helps finding those existing https://traivelling.com/en instead or in addition to interrail
@rysiek Yeah, it's fucked. FWIW, if you have access to another phone with the app (friend or VM), you can screenshot the boarding pass there and show that. Verified this as we "working" twice.
Although they probably "reserve the right" to not accept this via their EULA…
