The moon aligned with the tip of a rock. The Rick has a triangular profile, central within a wall of rock arranged as part of a seashore defence. The rocks are dark grey granite tinged with green algae. The moon sits in a twilight sky with high pink-tinged clouds.

The moon aligned just above a tide level marker, planted in grey shingle at the mouth of Langstone Harbour. The marker is a red cylinder atop a rusting steel post.
