Any system that decides humans have no right to clean water is fatally flawed. Simple as that.
I don’t adhere to any specific -ism or ideology. I’m about outcomes. All humans have a right to
- clean water & air
- food
- shelter/housing
- healthcare
- education
- bodily autonomy
- religious expression / freedom from religion
- equal participation in society regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, etc.
- equal participation in politics (voting, holding office) regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, etc.
- speech / expression
- privacy
- safety
- dignity
at a minimum. I’m sure I’ve missed a few.
Any system that fails to provide these or protect these is broken, and must be fixed or destroyed to make way for one that guarantees these outcomes.
“ The Fifth Circuit ruling comes as the #Trump admin moves to weaken clean-water-related protections.
Also on Friday, Trump’s #EPA released a supplemental rule to further dilute the Clean Water Act, quickly condemned by environmental watchdogs.”
