Android custom ROMs are free software by the grace of Google. How do we make sure they're not limited (any further) or even stopped completely by Google once they get too big a market share (for Google's liking)? Because if we don't or can't we're basically in the hands of Google anyway!

@fsfe I'd like to know what was meant when the web installer is not yet available. Does it mean the lack of instructions on how to use it?
@fsfe the review is quite vague, the info is like "some apps worked, some apps didn't work".
