@neil Listed building consent still required?
(There were issues with getting decent IT into the committee rooms at the #Cambridge City Council Guildhall due to the oak panelling being listed.)
If you have the opportunity, I'd recommend visiting the Mozilla offices in Paris. They're the former Austrian (I think) embassy and the interior is beautiful. They get it fairly cheaply because it has similar protection: you can't make holes in the walls or floors for additional power / network cables, so all of their wiring is across the floors and some doors need to be propped slightly open all of the time.
@david_chisnall @neil We will be passing through Paris in December, but only for a few hours and I'm afraid we won't have time for this.
