The upcoming series of explainer videos was developed as a resource-conscious prototype, bringing together human storyboarding and editing, AI avatar technology, and stock footage.

Hi there. Thanks for expressing your sentiments. Just for the record: This is *not* a prompted GenAI video. And nobody lost a gig because we made this – on the contrary. We also didn't fund any right-wing billionaires. Most importantly, loads and loads of human creativity went into creating the upcoming series of videos. Just sayin'... P.S.: "Making Of" post coming up.

I just shared my spontaneous emotion, not more. I watch lots of animation films and work with #sciComm, love visualisations. But this robot/scenes just feel creepy for me. It's a pity that you invested so much work when simpler animations can have better results.
And for the voice, am surely special and weird. As a synaestete, I hearsee voices. But I can't see anything with artificial voices, I only hear something flat. That
Hi @dw_innovation, I don’t think the video is crap at all. I’m sorry that much of the feedback you received here was so harsh.
When something isn’t to my taste, I usually prefer either to move on or, if I comment, to try to make the criticism constructive. There are clearly people and a lot of work behind this project.
