It seems as though Liverpool Football Club are now spending big money to buy players in whilst simultaneously selling off the academy graduates.
With zero ownership, managerial or playing staff connection to the home city the club has become franchise.
The American model of sports has reached is inevitable end stage.
I'm incredibly downhearted this morning.
@30yrdscreamer I don't know others, and I don't have it in me to tell other fellow Reds what to feel. I can only say that I always expect the absolute worst of FSG and their kind, and because of that, the fact that they seem unlikely to send Trey or Gakpo away feels like a little win to me personally.

@30yrdscreamer And you know that I'm not shy of letting my thoughts out when it comes to FSG, and you know how I feel about all the departures we saw in the last year, not only the young ones. Just to give one example, what they did with Quansah was criminal in my view.
Robbo to Spurs feels bad because it's Spurs, but the club can do very little if Robbo wants it, and we all knew that Mo's footballing future was nearing its end. Slot only accelerated it.
@30yrdscreamer To be honest I only feel a little relief that this season is going to be completely different.
And about FSG, business as usual, they are scum.
