I think after the equalizer and especially after the break you could see a glimpse of that old easiness in their play. There was some joy and confidence again, cheeky back-heel passes, quick passing moves, much more effective pressing, and we were winning second balls again. I like that.

I'm not sure what to think about that half. On the one hand the team have played really well the last 25mins of it, but on the other hand Frankfurt aren't particularly football elites.

A lot to discuss about that half but mostly I believe Kerkez isn't at the required level at the moment. VVD looks as though he doesn't have faith in him and appears to be quite frustrated with having to cover.
The (first choice)? midfield from last season isn't functioning well either.
The best play came from Mo dropping into the 10 position and feeding Gakpo - not what the team should be doing.
