Irish band Kneecap stands with Palestine, curses Netanyahu at Reading festival
Kneecap renews outspoken pro-Palestine stance
Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap used their headline set at the Reading Festival on Sunday to denounce 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and express solidarity with the Palestinian people enduring 'Israeli' military aggression and displacement.

Performing with a Palestinian flag draped over their DJ equipment, the Belfast-based group. comprising Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí, addressed the crowd, drawing parallels between Irish anti-colonial history and the current conditions in Palestine.
"It's important to us that we use this platform for what we believe to be right, and some people aren't as lucky right now, and that's our brothers and sisters in Palestine," the band told the audience during the performance.
"As Irish people, we understand displacement, colonialism, and forced starvation of a population that we see right now in Palestine."
The group concluded with curisng Netanyahu, saying "F**** Netanyahu.""
