⭕️ The new aid distribution system has become a killing field. Over 400 starving people reported killed since it started operating just a month ago.
⭕️ Instead of "orderly food distribution”, this system brings dehumanization, chaos and death. This cannot become the new norm. This abomination must end through a return to humanitarian deliveries from the #UN including #UNRWA.
⭕️ A #ceasefire is needed and the siege must be lifted to bring back a standard flow of basics including food, medicine, soap and fuel.

The #WHO announced that around 112 Palestinian children are being hospitalized daily in #Gaza for treatment of #malnutrition since beginning of this year, due to the severe Israeli blockade.

'Vijftig zorgverleners van de Rode Halve Maan gedood sinds uitbreken oorlog'
Sinds het uitbreken van de oorlog in Gaza zijn inmiddels vijftig zorgverleners van de medische hulporganisatie Rode Halve Maan gedood, zegt de organisatie in een verklaring. Haitham Bassam Abu Issa, een verpleegkundige in een kliniek van de Rode Halve Maan in Deir al-Balah, is donderdag gedood. Hij was op dat moment niet aan het werk.
"Dat brengt het totaal aantal van de medewerkers en vrijwilligers van de Rode Halve Maan dat is gedood op vijftig, een enorm schokkend cijfer."
VN-baas: GHF is 'onveilig, het doodt mensen'
VN-chef Guterres noemt de Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) onveilig. De operatie "Het doodt mensen." Israël en de VS willen dat de Verenigde Naties samenwerken met de omstreden Amerikaans-Israëlische organisatie die als taak heeft voedsel uit te delen in Gaza. De VN heeft die samenwerking geweigerd. Volgens de VN veroorzaakt de organisatie gedwongen ontheemding van Palestijnen.
Daarnaast zijn de afgelopen maand zeker 400 mensen gedood bij distributiepunten van GHF, aldus de VN. "Mensen worden gedood terwijl ze simpelweg proberen zichzelf en hun gezinnen te voeden. De zoektocht naar voedsel mag nooit een doodvonnis zijn", zei Guterres tegen verslaggevers. "Het is tijd om de politieke moed te vinden voor een staakt-het-vuren in Gaza."
In een reactie zegt het Israëlische ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken dat het leger nooit gericht op burgers schiet, anders dan wat militairen hebben verteld. Het ministerie beschuldigt de VN ervan "alles te doen wat in haar macht ligt" om de GHF tegen te werken. "Door dat te doen, schaart de VN zich aan de kant van Hamas, dat eveneens probeert de humanitaire operaties van de GHF te saboteren", aldus een bericht op X.

Reports from international outlets, including Haaretz and The Washington Post, had corroborated reports that these criminal gangs are affiliated to #ISIS and operate under the protection of Israeli forces. Witnesses and internal UN memos indicate that gangs looting aid convoys are often seen near Israeli military positions, where Israeli soldiers take no action against them. The gangs in Gaza “may be benefitting from a passive if not active benevolence” or “protection” from the Israeli army.
Yasser Abu Shabab has a known history of drug smuggling and collaboration with extremist groups. His gang, consisting of over 200 armed individuals, has established a fortified base in an Israeli-controlled zone in #Rafah. This area, referred to as a “death zone,” is typically inaccessible to #Gaza residents, further raising suspicions of Israeli complicity in the gang’s activities.
#Israel has been systematically attacking police members securing aid delivery, creating a very unstable security environment and allowing armed gangs to take advantage of the situation.
