@abuuba @wintermeyer have you done a database move from a mastodon install? Saying you can keep your account and phone tokens seems like a high bar that's unlikely to be true so I would love to see documentation of this

@liaizon @abuuba @wintermeyer I’m noting that it was tested against Mastodon 4.4.7 while the current version is 4.7 with several DB migrations in between, so I wonder how drop-in this is. What scale of Mastodon server was tested for a migration?

Good question! I haven’t moved a production server yet. I run vutuv.de not Mastodon.

I built abuuba because I needed a faster counterpart to vutuv.de as Mastodon is quite slow. I use abuuba for testing vutuv. I mainly published it to encourage Mastodon to improve its speed. Please read the homepage for the background.

@wintermeyer it says on top that vutuv has 6k users, how many active users are there. Is that number all local or does it include imported accounts from somewhere?
