I'd like to use my fall vacation time to build a fediverse Pinterest app based on Pixelfed Collections.
They would join Pixelfed, but without the emphasis on photo sharing, we could provide an amazing corpus of browsable collections (topics) like food recipes or decor ideas based on collections.
You saw how easy I made it to join Loops on iOS, and I'm really just getting started 🚀
Collections, a feature that I started back in 2019 for Pixelfed that was inspired by Pinterest.
My regret: limiting Pixelfed Collections to your own posts.
You should be able to add a website link or photo/video (that is not a post/status) in addition to your own posts, to 
Collections, because that's how people use Pinterest.
I'm on it. You will soon be able to share content from other places directly to the Pixelfed app, with recent Collections appearing first.
