I just made the mistake of having a peek at mozilla.org and pretty much everything I saw there made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. The self-congratulatory circle-jerking, the "AI" criti-hype, need I go on?
But the kicker has got to be the "Owners, not Renters" newsletter ... hosted on SubStack. Apparently Mozilla have the resources to run a Venture Capital fund, but not to host an instance of WordPress or Ghost or whatever for their own newsletters.

You might ask, why do I keep looking? It's a fair question.
I've been following the Mozilla community pretty much since it took over development of Navigator from NetScape. It did a lot of good work before its formal institutions were hijacked by overpaid MBA pod people and ruthlessly enshittified (as is currently happening at WikiMedia Foundation).
I guess I keep hoping the community will retake their legal entities, and normal transmission resumed. So far, not so much.
