@dangillmor Microsoft's behaviour is despicable, and there is no need to rely on their products. For every Microsoft product there is an adequate or even better open source alternative. The article fails to mention this and instead sounds a if the organisations only had a choice between a "free" (as in unpaid) and a paid licence with Microsoft.
