This was the other huge news in US immigration. They can now deny things without asking you for evidence. (Aka the ‘RFE’ which many people are familiar with)
USCIS can now deny an application outright for a missing document, with no request for evidence first. A green card case can end over a missing marriage certificate and no chance to supply it.
