So for once I tried the Nightjet sleeping car. However I got compartment number 1, located right next to the shower bathroom and most importantly the air conditioning compressor system. Which meant the door and the upper bed were resonating and vibrating all night... 😵‍💫 Imagine sleeping 50cm from a fridge. Ear plugs totally ineffective at these low frequencies.

I know this is an old model, but are train manufacturers not hiring sound engineers? Seems like table stakes for a night train!
