Hello you UK #permaculture #OrganicGardening #Allotment folk. I have hundreds of bulbils from some perennial Babbington Leeks. I shared some locally last year with instructions for growers to save some of bulbils to pass on .. so.. there are lots around here already. If anyone wants some, I'm happy to post some out in return for a small donation to the community project I run to cover postage costs.
@stuffjolikes I'm in the same boat- going to put the bulbils out into our seed library at work and hope to pass on as many as possible.
I handed some out at the Scottish Permaculture gathering last year too, so they might be reaching saturation soon!
as a bonus we have extra (enough to share) walking onion bulbils this year too
@Hellybootwader @stuffjolikes the kale you sent me is going great guns but the leeks didn't make it in the heat 😭 I'm conscious I never sent you the Taunton Deane in return, the cuttings never rooted and then it got so hot I didn't want to post them but could we maybe try again next spring?
@afewbugs glad the kale i doing well, happy to try the Taunton Dean again, do you want to try the babington leeks again?
