One thing that’s bugging me is they made a big deal early on of how he could sense Jean possessing people and then later they made a big deal of how he stopped being able to do that, but it was never really explained why he could or couldn’t at different times? Like I guess you can chalk it up to “his powers no worky when he’s out of balance” but… all his other powers were turned up to 11, so that feels sort of unsatisfying to me.
