@mk30 anecdotally cool pavement does seem cooler
Presuming cool pavement really works they should make it a new requirement for any neighborhood resurfacing
Phoenix claims to also be planting hundreds of trees, but has plenty of room to do much more good with landscaping and shade requirements
Less overnight heat battery from the pavement will help the trees survive

I was thinking about actually measuring it, will see about getting to a border that has cool pavement on one side and normal black top on the other
Maybe I'll take some salmonella eggs and see which side fries them better :)
