A cabbage white/Small White butterfly on some purple knapweed flower. The insects tongue can be seen sucking nectar from the flower. It is back lit and looks slightly green because of the light.

A seven spot ladybird on some stones. It appears to have bee damaged on one side of its wing casing as there is a caved in section of the red casing.

A white Egret. These are almost native in Ireland now. They look like out common Heron, except for being all white. They fish and feed in a similar way. A white body and long back legs. This one is staring at the viewers, with some attitude. It is ankle deep in water, with a bank fo stones behind.
