@ascentale @bikenite A8. My teen started back to school this week, so here’s part of our morning ride on the first day! Both the best (concrete protected bike lane!) and worst (lots of access points to parking lots/garages on the opposite direction as the photo). #BikeNite

@ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A8 saw that the street tree blossom is all coming out around where i live, lots of pink ornamental plum trees, and the full range of magnolias from pinks to dark purples.

Was too busy enjoying it all to stop and take a photo so here's one from a three day bike tour this time last year

@ascentale @bikenite A8: surprisingly good off road shared path along Newbridge Road near Liverpool (NSW). The road is a horrid stroad but the path is very usable.

@ascentale @bikenite A8: the one niggle with that shared path being the repeated 10kph speed suggestions painted on it. Not legally binding but suggests that whoever built it has no idea how bicycles are used.

Path is about 3m wide, there's ample room for fast cycling.
