Just a reminder that it helps to thumb-up this issue to request support for Mastodon post migration. It was opened in 2019 and my hope is the @MastodonEngineering team will notice the feature is highly requested and bump the priority a bit.

@amoroso @MastodonEngineering you would think this would be the biggest thing on the table, especially with atproto doing it natively (even tough I have a ton of contempt for bluesky and a lot of its users)
@valerie Agreed, especially after two migrations that left behind years worth of posts.
@amoroso @MastodonEngineering It should be possible to migrate the users you follow as well. the worst thing when migrating is, you cannot follow at the new instance a person you already follow at the old instance, because in the meantime, he activated the option to manually accept follow requests.
@clv1 Isn't it already possible to export and import the followed list? If some of the users activated the manual accept option there's not much to do anyway.
