So rumors seem to confirm what everybody is thinking, the level of US airdefense interceptors/missiles other munitions is reaching dangerously low levels, for example with regard to possible conflicts in other theatres..
Iran knows this too and will take full advantage of it.

@ErikJonker It's incomprehensible why some European countries are still waiting for delivery of these instead of strengthening the European Industrial base when the new US doctrine is literally that stockpiling is useless and that they are consumables, pushing these deliveries further out on every new front the US opens ...
Part of this is the euro inability to collaborate on defence projects. There’s IRIS-T SLM by Diehl and NASAMS by Kongsberg for low to medium altitude and SAMP/T by MBDA and Thales for high-altitude and anti-ballistic, but low production volumes. And now there’s FREYJA, but usually when a large coalition is put together, it will collapse before results (ref: FCAS)
