ah yes good, I see Mozilla has "improved" Firefox settings by making PgDn not function to, you know, page down. A+++ use of resources, glad they're still doing their good work to make a browser that isn't a steaming pile 👍️
lol, half the time basic UI controls in the "improved" settings don't even work right and require a page reload too. just absolutely stellar fucking work from #Mozilla.
meanwhile the number of settings I have to turn off on a fresh install of #Firefox just goes up and up and up.
ah well, I'm the asshole for not having completed my goal of completely ditching Firefox yet. that's on me.
oh, and what prompted me to find all this out just now is that I have an entire separate browser profile just for YouTube (which is still stock Firefox because it's a Linux Mint "browser app" or whatever it's called, where you can make a site into an "app" in your start menu that just loads a specific browser session), and I never turned all the default crap off, and 5 minutes ago I finally saw one too many shitlib-clapback style "news" articles from "Firefox sponsors" in a new tab 👍️
