Today the wildfire smoke in the air from the North is thick enough to block out some of the sun beating down on #ThisOldClownHouse. It's a weirdly mixed win, as the air quality is terrible yet cooler than we feared.
At the moment, I'm grateful to @SocialGaff for having done an excellent job of redoing the weather stripping on the doors.
We're expecting some rain by the end of the weekend, so hopefully that will help both problems.
I have friends in Canada who are getting the brunt of it. They often have to cancel trips because it's just a dangerous to be outside with all that smoke from the wildfires
Yeah, we're only outside in masks for short periods today. The filters are positioned by the doors to create a sort of airlock space. Even with all of that, I got a headache when someone ducked outside.

we got an a/c today ... it won't be properly installed till tomorrow, but we're using it atm and my goodness the cool air is nice.
