Layan Ayoub (@Layan2002) writes this morning of the grief of a mother at the death of her only surviving child. It made me think sharply of another friend of mine in #Gaza, Bara'a ( @baraa1998 ) whose son, Ibrahim, is her only surviving family, and is sick. I know how much she fears to lose him.
Food is scarce and expensive in Gaza now; everyone is malnourished. If you can afford to give, it may save lives.
