Today has been "Ok, really, which kind of squash decided to volunteer out of the compost??" and learning about when/how to harvest. We probably harvested a couple too early out of enthusiasm, and the guess that it might be a summer squash.
Last year they all got eaten by some kritter pretty early, so we didn't see much of how they grow!
My current guess is we have some larger (and rounder) than average delicata squash. But I am most certainly not an expert!
I guess we'll see if any make it to full maturity!
