We're sat at a table in front of a curved set of windows, part of an observation lounge at the top and front of a cruise ship. Through the windows we can see a flat, grey sea and some distant islands. On the table there's an afternoon tea set up on white linen. Small pots, cups, and strainers along with two glasses of champagne are either side of a small cake stand holding a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and clotted cream and jam on the three levels.
