@greenpeace If we still haven't gone extinct in the year 2500, there won't be any historians, or any complex civilisations whatsoever, because there won't be enough humans on the entire planet for that. Just a few million humans in total, maybe even less than a million, getting by as nomadic tribes in those regions that still support human life. And the storytellers will tell tales of the mad people of the past who thought they could live outside the real world, building artificial worlds known as cities, while their machines ate all the living things.
